Ms Query To Repair Damaged Access Database
The Access repair deception is based on the ability of MS Excel to bring external data to the workbook. Note: In Excel 2002 and its later versions, Get External Data is named as ‘Import External Data’. • Choose Data Source dialog appears, click New Data Source and then OK • Type TestRecovery in Create New Data Source dialog box as data source name, select Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) and choose connect. • ODBC Microsoft Access Setup dialog box will appear, click select and then choose the targeted Access database, click OK • In Create New Data Source dialog box, click OK and then in Choose Data Source dialog box, you will see the newly created database query • Select TestRecovery, click OK • In Query Wizard - Choose Columns dialog box, add fields to Columns in your query section by double-clicking the first table, click Next and then Finish. • Take $A$1 as the default value to insert the data, click OK and then save the spreadsheet and repeat these steps for all the tables of Access database to different spreadsheets.
