There are a ton of people flocking to use Twitter these days. Some say it will over take Google as the biggest and badest search engine, who knows. I do know that your life can soon become consumed by using Twitter. Most people start using twitter to keep up with friends and family and other use it to see what celebrities and business are up to. Then there is a small growing crowd of online business people that use it to network with each other. Whatever group you fall into, you have to be careful not to fall prey to it. Most people spent long hours on Twitter just trying to keep up. Some examples of things to keep up with are, adding new followers, welcome messages, direct messages, and trying to get all the info in and still have room for the URL. These are the commons issues people are facing everyday. Well I have found a solution to some of these issues. The solution is to use new tools that will automate most of your Twitter duties. Notice that I said most, not all. There is some software out there that will do the complete opposite for you. The tools that I found to be helpful and Twitter safe are: Tweet Deck and Tweet Later.
Tweet Deck (TD) is a great new free tool that is still in beta. This tool will allow you to have a live time feed of tweets, direct messages, @ replies and other notifications of the people you are following. TD also incorporates a button that allows you to shorten long URLs. Another amazing function that TD has is, when you send a tweet. That same tweet can also be sent to some social media sites at the same time. It is very user friendly due to a three column homepage and is easily downloadable to your computer. This tool is a must have for all Twitter members. Just the simple notification alert, will allow you to keep on top of direct messages as they come in. It will also allow you to add more information to your tweets because of the shorten URL button. This software will make your Twitter experience more streamline and less labor intensive. It will be your twitter hub and save you hours of Twitter use.
Other highly recommend piece of software for Twitter is Tweet Later (TL). This software is also free and in beta form. This software is also very user friendly and easy to become a member. TL is great because it allows you to automate some of the more tedious task involved with Twitter. Some of those task are: welcome messages, unfollowing people who have unfollowed you, and following people who have started to following you. It is simple just become a member by visiting their site Tweetdeck dot com. Sign up for a free membership. After becoming a member, click new account. Then all you have to do is follow the steps. The best part is once you have sent it up. You will never have to do anymore of these tedious tasks again. They will all be done for you. In turn, you will be able to focus your efforts on other parts of you business.
Now I do want to add some important advice. Automating your Twitter account will help you in some ways. However some software will also hurt you as well. I do not recommend software that will automatically add followers to your account or software that will send out speed ads automatically to your followers for you. These types of software are the quickest and easiest ways to get your Twitter account band. Allows remember to do your research before adding any tools to your arsenal. The last thing you want is to lose your account of 5,000 + follower and have to start all over. Hope this information helped.
