But the disadvantage is, it can only send pre-set emails in sequence. You can't just "broadcast" something when you have anything to say to your subscribers.
With the auto-responder, you will be given some html codes. You can now place the html codes in your website, and craft your opt-in page. While you can just place an opt-in option in your website, the more effective way is to create a full opt-in squeeze page. Then, make sure you place links to the squeeze page prominently in every pages of your website.
