Twitter seems to be going from strength to strength and recent reports claim that it now boasts over 4 million members. Analysts predict with membership growing by tens of thousands each day that membership could hit the ten million mark by the end of 2009. Companies now are staring to monitories their twitter followers with big corporations such as Starbuck leading the way. Could Twitter become the next money making machine? Can you Twitter for profit?
If you think about social networks such as Facebook and Myspace these have become a great promotional tools. It’s a “no brainer” to realise that Twitter in its own way can also reach out to targeted markets.
