Make Your Choice: Golf Ball Distance Or Accuracy?
Ever since the dimples were introduced, golf ball distance have been getting further and further thus allowing players to reduce strokes off their score easily. To say that going back to dimpleless golf ball design is defeating the purpose is a over critical statement. As much as technology has developed, the materials of today might have a chance of allowing the fall of distance to be less than 70% of the dimpled golf ball. This step back into history might have served it's purpose well if the technology Caesar developed delivers at least 70% of the current average golf ball distance on Tour. If not, it is rather meaningless and might mean additional strokes as a result. However, if we take another look into it, this golf ball might be the turning point into how golf is being played. Simple, nice, straight forward with not much trick shots to deliver and as a result, it might be a revelation to all. After all, you release the endless frustrations and tries to get your golf ball flying straight towards your target. Can you put yourself into a wonderful world without hooks and slices? This might be a short cut for beginners who are not able to execute the golf swing properly. If you have a iron man swing that rakes 115 mph, you might be enjoying the game as before. Though natural slices and hooks are unwanted, it will be treasured sometime and missed by many. In the end, gym memberships might soar in prices, golfers will spend endless hours on swing trainers, recreational ones might double their efforts to tone up their fitness. But at the age of 67, you might consider cheering your son from the side as you see him whack a white dimpleless golf ball off the tee. The game have been made beautiful by allowing golfers of all ages participate and enjoy through the enhancement of dimples. The game might have a new beautiful white golf ball that is so pure and smooth but the future seems somewhat unsure and blurry with the likes of it dominating the market. Distance or accuracy, you decide. For me, i prefer the exciting thrill and skills devoted to make the game beautiful and spinning. After all, i am addicted to distance and do not intend to change, do you?
