Making Good Money Online Is Possible

I am like many people that turned to the internet after losing my marriage due to my job; then losing my job due to the economy. I had tried (half-heartedly) to make good money online at home to replace my job which kept me away from home and farm for up to two years at a time. I came home after losing my job and whipped the farm back into shape and wanted to find something to supplement my income from that, so I looked and experimented online and found many things out:

There actually are respectable, ethical, and passive ways to make money online for very little or no cost to start, no website, and no product of your own to sell or ship; but there are also folks out there that want to scam you with junk and promises of overnight riches. I just wanted to share some of this information with others so they don’t get scammed or end up spending a lot of their time and money; then making very little or nothing for the effort.

The first thing I tried was Online Surveys. There are numerous “survey” companies and people selling lists of “survey” companies on the internet that promise all sorts of large earnings and prizes for “short, simple surveys”. A lot of these are simply marketing sites instead of real surveys, and I found that most of the sites that “pay” do not compensate you much for the time you put into it. If you want to spend a lot of time to possibly make a few hundred bucks a month, this is for you. Some of the surveys are quite fun and I still participate in a few.

There are the typing sites, which I know little about; but I am looking into it now.

Then I decided I would find something to Buy and Sell. I still do quite a bit of this because it is fun and rewarding; but it does take a bit of effort, time, and the investment to purchase merchandise. Merchandise can be found all over the internet (I use sites selling discontinued items or closeouts/sale items), garage sales, estate sales, etc. This merchandise can then be sold at free want ad sites (i.e. craigslist and others) or the auction sites. How much you make depends on your savvy in buying things people want to buy at a good price.

You can also sell goods for others without ever touching the merchandise, and get a commission for your marketing efforts. It can be done using FREE sites. There are companies online that will pay you quite well for sending people to their website to buy and give you the tools to do it. This is where many excellent marketers make a lot money; and the effort you put in to learn “HOW” to do this efficiently makes all the difference. I have been doing this also and making decent money, but still quite new at it. There are various products (step-by-step videos and text) on the market to teach you the “HOW”, so be careful of the ones that tell you “WHAT” to do and not “HOW” to do it. The good thing is this is passive selling (and income) once you are set up.

And always remember to look out for scams. Getting rich overnight is highly unlikely unless you inherit it, find it, or do something illegal.
