Making money from home is NOT rocket science; if it were, there wouldn't be nearly so many people making more money than they ever dreamed possible! Find out! Research, read blogs about making money, visit forums, even buy a guide or ebook that explains how it works. If you aren't willing to take the time to learn something new, you may as well give up now and stop wasting your time.

2. No motivation. If you plan on earning money from your own home, whether online or off, it takes motivation. This is why it is essential that you choose a business that holds your interest! If you choose a niche that you know nothing about or that doesn't interest you, it isn't likely that you will be motivated to do the work it takes to make a success of your business. This is true whether you decide to start a catering business or sell a product online. Pick something you enjoy, and put forth a few hours effort EVERY SINGLE DAY to make it work.

3. Your focus wanders. This is big problem for many people who want to make money from home, especially those who want to do so online. You see so many exciting programs, you want to join them all! Or, you may choose a niche to get started in, then you jump in to another one before you even have the first one off and running. When you have "too many irons in the fire" as they say, you're likely to be the "jack of all trades and master of none." Once you decide what you're going to tackle, concentrate on that ONE thing and go for it!
