Managing Time
We can change that habit by putting some of the basic time management principles and be committed to it. But I warn you, this is not easy at all, you might have to struggle a little bit and work hard to achieve good results at these time management techniques. You will have to invest a lot of time learning on how to do these things and practicing it, but you will get your pay-back eventually, ten times more than you have invested. Recognize that you can’t do it all in one time. You’re not Superman, or Einstein, or Shakespeare, or Galileo. So decide on what things and activities are important to you and live you life accordingly. It doesn’t matter how you spend your time, but what matters is that you are happy and healthy. Learn to prioritize. Pick out the things which are important for you for a day and make it your no. 1 priority. Other little things will come in later after you have finished the one which is important. At the end of the day, you will feel that you have accomplished something, not worrying that you have some unfinished chores or business to attend to. Learn to say no. Sometimes people expect to those who sometimes say “maybe” because they will be expecting that you are committed but unsure which causes conflict and misunderstanding. By saying no, is a simple way of declining a certain offer on a project which can be respected and you honesty will be appreciated. You are able to allow them to not waste their time and trust on you by not committing on what you cannot do. And it will also be a break for you, by not going into a project which you cannot do perfectly, leaving you free from stress and worry.
