Then again, even if that patient is the most challenging person there is in the clinic, the medical staff and that includes the medical assistant must maintain their professionalism and show patience and kindness to all.

Communication
Medical assistants must be good communicators. Since they commonly commune with doctors, they need to deliver the message flawlessly and accurately. Aside from vocal communication, medical assistants are mainly in charge of other administrative responsibilities and they need to ensure that all their writings and notes are readable.

Extended Working Hours Or Holiday Shifts
Like other medical professionals, medical assistants must be flexible and should be agreeable to work for extended hours, There may also be times in which they have to report even if it is a national or a regular holiday.

Patient Closeness
All medical staff must be professional always. Avoid personal and emotional attachment as not to cloud the decision making. Then again, if dealing with lives, it can be confounding not be affected when someone dies. Yes, people are emotional beings. Nevertheless, it is the responsibility of the health staff to stay professional and composed.

Nurse Or Medical Assistants
The roles of medical assistants are encompassing that there are times they are mistaken as nurses. They are faced with the trouble of explaining their roles to others. They have to flawlessly and good-naturedly stretch the fact that they are not nurses. This is sometimes a very discomfited condition to be into.

Under Pressure
Every day is a new experience when working in a hospital setting. There are instances in which the volume of patients are just average and there are times wherein it is so overpowering. When there are so many patients to cater to, medical assistants ought to stay in focus. They do not let the situation overcome them or else they will not be able to carryout their duty well.
