This is attributable to the fact the club head was able to hit the ball at the exact location, resulting in increase accuracy.

Having got used to the feeling, I therefore test it out using a normal driver. As a result of the lighter weight on the normal driver, I was able to speed up the swing tempo and this time, the ball flew further and the accuracy was equivalent as the Medicus Dual Hinge Driver.

The Medicus Dual Hinge Driver does work. You may be having some difficulties with the rhythm and the swing plane and these flaws are the main culprit to your unreliable swing.
