Meditation Music And Their Technological Preservation

Man is naturally intended to hear organic noise and most of the time Meditation Music is based on those sounds. The rustling leaves in the wind, the bubbling brook, the waves crashing into the surf, and even the cricket chirps and coyote howls are the basis for listening to relaxing natural sounds. Some of the natural sounds that people take for granted everyday may be on the road of being forgotten with the current pace of progress.
- What is Meditation Music used for?
As the name implies, the music is used for meditation. The music is used like an aid for the mind and body to relax and let go of worries and to get a meditative state. With this kind of aid, external noises can be avoided and the music used as a measure for the body to synchronize itself with.
A prime example of this is the recorded noise of crashing waves on the shore mixed into the soothing sounds of violin or piano music. Note the changes in listening people when this is played around people in a noisy atmosphere.
- Why does it need to be preserved?
With the current pace of industrial and commercial progress the whole world is undergoing, the natural places in the world where the sounds of nature is most abundant is rapidly dwindling. Even though there have been conservation measures being taken up, it cannot keep up with the progress being made today.
The needed measures are already being undertaken by Conservationists to record and preserve anything a local can offer since progress cannot be stopped. From the sights, sounds and even the some samples are being taken, recorded and then preserved for posterity.
- Why use devices to record and store them at all?
This is satirical in its own. This is something to ponder about, the usage of the very product of progress in Nature preservation. It is easier than ever to record anything and share it to the whole world since the advancement of recording and storage devices have come a long way.
With the sounds preserved for all to enjoy, making new Meditation Music using these preserved sounds can be repeated for future generations to use. Why not record you own noise?
