If a wealthy man asks you out, don't be amazed. Believe in yourself. He has asked you out for reason. You are more than capable to deal with the situation. By being a confident, fun and feisty woman makes for a great person for a rich man to hang out with. Because a rich man is so used to women throwing them selves at him he may seem disinterested in you. But keep up the witty conversation and you will soon have him genuinely interested in you. When you start a conversation off, talk about something you have knowledge about. Don't make it up as you go along, that will not impress him and you will look silly. If he is talking about something you don't know about then you must ask him. It would be best you asked him rather then look stupid pretending you know. By you asking him, that shows you are taking a genuine interested in him. You were independent before you met him, stay that way. Nobody needs a wealthy man to give them what they need.
