Mild Hyperbaric Is Not For Everyone
Remember that not all Doctors are knowledged about Mild hyperbaric so you might need to see more than one or find someone that has done Mild Hyperbaric to refer you to one that believes in Mild Hyperbaric. Many times when talking with the people that are claustrophobic they had an emotional trauma that led them to become claustrophobic. There are ways to overcome being claustrophobic, but it might take some time. There are many Doctors out there that work with Emotional Trauma and help for those interested in moving past their claustrophobic fears. You get more benefits the more your body can relax during your session. There are some contraindications of why you might not be able to do Hyperbaric -being pregnant - have Emphysema - in the past 6 months had open Heart Surgery - are on any of these 5 medications – List meds: Doxorubicin, Bloodying, Cis-Platinum, Disulfiram and Mafenide Acetate - have extremely High Blood Pressure - have ever had Ear canal or ear surgery If you have any of these health concerns then Hyperbaric is probably not for you consult your local Doctor or a Hyperbaric center Sometimes just knowing the process, knowing that someone can sit with you. Knowing that someone is close by the whole time that you can listen to your favorite music during your session. Knowing that you’re climbing into a FDA home approved chamber. Also that you can fully get yourself into and out of the chamber helps, knowing that you are still in control and can release any fears. After one or two sessions most fear goes away.
