Making technology mobile was the prime concern of most makers and considerable efforts have been made to achieve it. Mobiles have extremely limited scope of expansion and this makes them obsolete after a new model has arrived.

Mobile phones have to depend on the service providers for communication purpose or internet access. These service providers have a tiff over spectrum allocation and thus there are constant network jams especially in India. This is causing trouble for the mobile users. Mobile phone users expect reliable and fast service and if they do not get they will switch to other networks. Thus providers have to be always alert and keep on inventing ways to retain their customer base. Thus they strive with mobile phone makes to make varied technologies integrated and make mobile phones a fully convergent medium.
