Modern Vs Traditional Bathrooms
There are a wide range of options for this decision. For starters the size of your bathroom will determine a lot. If you have a small space for your bathroom then a modern bathroom would be the better option. This is so you can optimize the space you have available as a modern bathroom is rather clear-cut and simple. Modern bathrooms have an overall emphasis on functionality. Now if you have a large space for your bathroom then you are afforded the space to play around with a design. A traditional design can also do wonders for a large space. However some prefer something which is less conventional. A classic and vintage look complete with furniture of the era along with the proper lighting and colors can turn even the most-empty of spaces into a compact and beautiful looking traditional bathroom. However, if this look and layout isn't your cup of tea then perhaps a more contemporary and adventurous style. A modern bathroom has some major technological advancement over a traditional bathroom. There are new updated advances in plumping and lighting. Faucets and toilets now have soft water flushing and motion sensor enhancements. Some modern bathrooms even have LCD televisions and color therapy, which is when you paint your walls with a therapeutic color. Not to mention therapeutic lighting. Fear not however, you don't have to have the latest technology and gadgets to make your bathroom modern. A simple bathroom can be just as stimulating. Victorian and Edwardian bathrooms fall under the traditional design and layouts of bathrooms. Sometimes an old world feel can be very relaxing and is just simple. Even with bathrooms the old adage of less is more can hold true. In the end it usually comes right down to money of what you are willing to spend and in some cases what you can afford on a realistic level. If you want to have a traditional bathroom, they are usually cheap and can be done by yourself. A more modern bathroom would require some outside contracting and help. It would also require more money be spent on frivolous items which you wouldn't have to worry about with a traditional bathroom. Either way it comes down to personal taste of which is better and which is worth more your time and money.
