More Options For Travellers Planning Cuba Holidays In 2012
Altogether Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Coco, Cayo Romano and Cayo Sabinal offer excellent conditions for fishing off Ciego de Avila and Camaguey’s northern coast with spectacular diving sites. The Caribbean country has more than 70 species of coral and 900 species of fish. Today the endangered areas have recovered. In 2011, the island’s tourism authorities and entrepreneurs participated in every major international travel fair and exhibition outside the country such us ITB, WTM, TTG and FITUR. In order to attain 2012’s plan of 2.9 million visitors, Cuba will keep and even increase their presence in this type of events. The newly-born year will also witness the opening of new Cuba hotels in low-room-density holiday destinations such as Trinidad. A 5-star hotel is expected to open in this heritage town with the tentative inauguration date being awaited for around mid 2012.
