Most Frequently Used Break Up Lines By Guys

It is funny how men use the same break up lines again and again and the sad part about it is many women buy their lousy excuses. Some even find these lines cheesy, which is why many women find it difficult to get over their exes. However, if girls will only analyze what these break up lines really mean then they will realize how lame they actually are.

To give women some insights on what lies beneath these lame break up lines, here are a few commonly used break up lines by guys.

It’s not you, it’s me

This is probably the most common break up line used by guys. You even hear it on movies and that is where they probably got it. But what does this line really mean? Although some men might be sincere when they say this but majority of men use this excuse to get out of the relationship to avoid further conflicts and questions from their girlfriends. We all know how men hate to explain and express what they truly feel.

I just need to focus on my work or school right now. I think it’s for the best

Many women find this line cheesy especially when guys finish the line with: this is for our future. You wouldn’t want to marry a jobless man someday, do you? However, at the back of every guy’s mind what they want to tell women is you are not my priority right now. Or you are a distraction; I cannot do the things I enjoy anymore.

You’re too good for me, I don’t deserve you

This is one break up line men use to lessen their guilt feeling. Breaking up is bad enough and they do not want to make it worse by saying ugly things about their partner. To make sure their girlfriend will not feel that bad about their break up they use this line instead. In the end it is the girl who will feel guilty and not the guy.

So all girls out there, when your boyfriends use any of these lines you now know what they really want to tell you. Do not be deceived by their dramas and let them make a fool out of you.
