Motivational Wisdom – How To Advance To Perfection
Sometimes the best wisdom is found in the simplest form. Have you ever found yourself trying to perfect things in your life so much that it seems like you are actually getting worse? It’s easy to focus so much on the process of perfection and bettering yourself that you forget what you are actually trying to do.
The best way to improve and advance your life is to just…advance! Don’t worry so much about all the things that you have to do to get better, focus merely on advancing everyday. If you are consistently advancing every day you will soon see that you will be much further along than you ever thought possible.
Kahlil Gibran once wrote, ‘Advance, and never halt, for advancing is perfection. Advance and do not fear the thorns in the path, for they draw only corrupt blood.’ Like I said at the beginning, some of the best wisdom is often the simplest. Don’t be so worried about the thorns or obstacles around you that could possibly stop your advancement. You see, as soon as you stop to consider all risks, or ways to get to where you are going, you stop moving forward and are simply at a stand still.
As soon as you stand still you begin to focus on all the things around you and you become very distracted. However, if you just keep moving forward you don’t have the time to look around and wonder about the “what ifs”, the “maybes”, or the doubts that come by taking your eye off of the goal.
The most important thing is to just get moving and don’t stop. Great things come to those who are moving and advancing toward their goal, dream, and vision.
