Motorola V8 Mobile Phone Review
Full details of the phone have yet to be made public, but what is known from the pre release information is that it is likely to add a huge number of features to the original model, expanding it into a high end multi media device with enough functionality to keep even the most technophile phone owner happy. However, Motorola have also had to be careful to ensure that they provide a phone that will appeal to users of the original version, who demand that the new phone is as effortlessly beautiful as before, and provides exactly the same levels of style as is demanded from this particularly discerning. The phone is actually very similar in size to the original V3 RAZR, but manages to pack in a number of additional features. The large external screen is touch sensitive, and can be used to control the music player functions without having to open the phone’s flip. Although the phone is quite heavy at 120g, much of this weight is in the solid metal external case, which like its predecessor is finished in anodised aluminium, and feels extremely hard wearing to the touch. Features of the phone include a 2 mega pixel camera with an 8x optical zoom – improving massively on that offered by the original model. It also comes with either 420MB of internal memory built in, with the option of a 2GB model rumoured. The launch of the new Motorola RAZR2 mobile phone will coincide with the launch of a special Windows based media store that will allow owners of the phone to download all the music that they want directly onto their PC and then transfer it to the phone via either Bluetooth or USB. The RAZR2 comes complete with a set of high quality headphones, but will be compatible with a range of wireless headsets. The chances are that when it is first released, the RAZR 2 will come with a hefty price tag, especially in the run up to Christmas, but in the New Year, prices should fall quickly, and it will become very popular when it is available as a free upgrade.
