My Several Ways To Optimize Windows Performance

1.Turn off those auto-run programs I don’t need.
So many programs set itself to auto-run after windows startup, and this situation always occupy CPU time. Several auto-run programs will slow down my computer access time. So I like to turn auto-run programs off by using some ways.
a. Open regedit.exe in run menu.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Delete the items I don't want.
b. In regedit.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Do the same thing.
c. In regedit.exe
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupreg
Try again.
d. In regedit.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows:Load
Do delete.

2.Stop the services I don’t need.
I always think some system services have no use for me, so I terminate those I don’t like.
I go start -> run -> msconfig , there are some options in it, such as system.ini , win.ini , boot.ini , services , startup, I just select service option, delete the service I don't want. Here notice that I know the service I want to remove exactly, otherwise it will harm system maybe.

3.Speed the time of windows startup or turnoff.
The time of pretreatment for memory and system files while startup or waiting for dealing with programs while turnoff is set in registry. So I find the follow key in regedit.exe.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
There are some keys in it.
WaitToKillAppTimeout means the time of waiting for closing app.
HungAppTimeout means the time of waiting for app that has errors.
Here notice that 1000 means 1 second, so I can set the value of keys.
4.Remove the program or spy-ware ARP cache in registry after it was removed.
The same is in regedit.exe, locate the follow item key.
HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ MICROSOFT \ WINDOWS \ CURRENTVERSION \ APP MANAGEMENT \ ARPCACHE
Here I can find the correlative child item key about program I want, do delete.
Everything is OK.
5.Close the apparent death programs
It is very easy as I can do. Use regedit.exe again, then go HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Control Panel -> Desktop , set AutoEndTasks to 1 , restart windows, that is Ok.

There are some ways that is in my consideration to optimize windows performance. For example, make a bigger RAM, clean up desktop, enough free space in system volume.
