Cave Diving
Featuring a number of underground lakes and sinkholes, Namibia boasts some of the best cave diving in the world. Great visibility and pleasantly warm water ensure a premier cave diving experience at destinations which include:
o Otjikoto Lake – where well preserved relics from the First World War are protected in an underwater museum.
o Aigamas Cave - which is the exclusive home to a species of catfish, Clarias cavernicola.
o Guinas Lake – which is renowned, as one of only two, habitats of the colourful indigenous fish, Tilapia guinasana.
o Dragon’s Breath - the largest underground lake in the world, discovered by South African speleologists in 1986 which, together with Harasib, has visibility in excess of 150 metres.
o Harasib – where divers have to negotiate a spectacular 120 metre abseil from a hole in the roof to the lake below.
Cave diving in Namibia demands the specialised skills of advanced technical diving, so only experienced divers will be considered.

Hot Air Ballooning
There is nothing quite like drifting aimlessly, high in the sky, nudged gently by the breezes while the world sweeps insignificantly below. Namibia offers a variety of hot air ballooning adventures which fly over the following areas:
o The dunes of the Namib Desert and the majestic cliffs of the Naukluft massif in central Namibia.
o The Brandberg Mountain in Damaraland which, at 2,573 m, is Namibia’s highest mountain and is renowned for its vast collection of ancient Bushmen rock art.
o Sossusvlei, a clay pan in the central Namib Desert surrounded by gigantic red sand dunes

Flights generally last an hour, with the return trip from the landing site a mini nature excursion. A post-flight champagne breakfast, together with transfers to and from your over-night accommodation, is all part of an exclusive package. Hot air ballooning in Namibia is a safe family-orientated adventure activity.

Restrictions: Children shorter than 130 cm will not be able to see over the basket and are encouraged to follow the balloon with the ground crew.

Walking with Bushmen

Experience an intriguing culture reputed to be the oldest in the world, learn the desert survival skills of the descendants of skilled Iron Age practitioners, listen to the age old tales of predators which ward off evil and get a glimpse of the harsh wilderness eco-system whilst walking with Bushmen.
