Natural Remedies For Acne Do Exist And Are More Effective Than Creams Or Pills

Natural remedies for acne do exist and are in fact much more effective in the long run than other alternatives. Think of what mainstream media and most western doctors consider the answer to acne. It's basically either using a face wash that has chemicals or using a topical cream made of chemicals designed to heal acne. When this doesn't work, the doctor goes to other measures and prescribes drug prescriptions that are taken orally.

And this is the worst thing you can do. These drugs have many negative effects not only on your skin but on your whole digestive system. Some of these drugs destroy all of the bacteria in your digestive track leaving your immune system weakened. Sure, you'll get rid of acne after taking the drug but eventually it will come back...and with a vengeance.

The natural approach to curing acne involves finding out what really causes acne. Most will say that acne is caused because of puberty and sebum or clogged pores. What they don't say is why this is.

There are many more reasons for acne than that. What causes the sebum to be produced in excess? What causes some to have acne during puberty and others not to? And why do people still get acne after puberty?

Puberty does have a large impact on acne. And the reason is because of hormones. When you're going through puberty your hormonal levels are skyrocketing and very unbalanced. This often does lead to acne. But is puberty the only thing that can alter hormone levels? Nope.

What is one of the largest impact on our hormones? Food. What we eat. Take a look at diabetics and why they need to take insulin. First off, insulin is a hormone. People get diabetic because they often ate too much sugary foods that spiked their hormones and ruined their blood sugar control. Now they need to artificially give themselves hormones. If food can cause diabetes do you think it can cause acne?

The natural remedies for acne involve changing the way you eat. Avoiding the foods that lead to spikes in insulin. One such type of food is processed sugars. Avoid candies, donuts, or any sugary foods. These spike your insulin and can lead to acne.
