In the late 1980’s the US Government granted use to civilians of the global position system without charging any fees. GPS is not only available on your cell phone, but it is standard on most vehicles manufactured today and is Bluetooth interfaced. If your vehicle does not have the built-in option, they do make portable global positioning systems that are wonderful if you have more than one family vehicle, or you travel to different cities and have to rent a vehicle once you arrive.
