If you are like me you love looking for hidden musical gems. most of my friends and family always come to me when they're in search of new music that I've never heard before. That's because I'm constantly looking for new things that I personally haven't heard before. And it's not hard, there is plenty of unique music out there especially in the hip-hop genre.
You are also a little bit like me to go through phases, it seems for a few years I like one type of music and then I will transition into another type of music. It's not that I dislike any of the music, it's just that my tastes seem to have changed over the years.
Recently, I'm grown in a dire love for hip-hop music, at the same time I've developed a great disliking for a lot of mange dreamed hip-hop music. So when I'm searching for new music within my genre I tend to look at underground websites. These websites usually have artists on them that I've never heard before which is always a bonus. I will listen to a couple of songs find one I like and then I will download the whole artists on CD from iTunes.
Lately though, when I've been searching for new hip hop songs -- I've been unable to find the underground stuff that I actually like. more and more mainstream artists are showing up in the search results and unfortunately Kanye West occupies more than half of them.
