New In Theaters - Brothers, Armored, & Up In The Air

Three new movies hit theaters this Friday and I’m looking forward to seeing them (as usual). First on my “Go-See” list is Brothers, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, and Natalie Portman. I’m really looking forward to seeing Tobey Maguire playing a dark and depressed role opposite of his previous comedic role as Spiderman.

Next up on my list is Up In The Air – if you can view it during it’s limited release this week (only released to 12 markets). I unfortunately am not that lucky, but for others I’m sure you’re in for a treat. In thismovie, George Clooney plays a hired hand that comes in to fire staff. This looks to have a few knee-slapping laughs with an underlying story on what is really important in life.

Last on the list (and to be honest if I wasn’t reviewing movies I’d probably wait for the DVD) is Armored. This looks to be another typical heist movie that’s both action and star packed to bring in the crowds. I’m hoping the actors pull out a good show because I’m a little tired of the heist movies (especially since Takers is released soon too) and hope the story isn’t too predictable biting off other past heist movies.
