New Years Resolution How To Make Money Online

It is that time of the year again when people are making their New Year’s resolutions. Here’s a resolution for you. Decide right now that you are going to learn how to make money online. It’s time to create a second income that will provide security for you in these tough economic times.

Think about it for a moment, wouldn’t you enjoy the financial security that a second income would create?

Here are a couple of tips that can help you keep this resolution. First, you are looking for a way to make money. You are not looking for a second job. By that I mean this. Any additional money must be created in a way that does not make you to work an additional forty hours per week. You must be able to build this income up in your spare time so that you can still enjoy life.

Next, when you are looking for a way to make money, search for ways that you can make money with as little cash out of pocket as possible. The ideal is to be able to start making money with no money out of your pocket. This isn’t always possible but it’s a goal.

Next, look at the many ways to make money. There is real estate, direct selling, working a second job (boo!), or my favorite, to make money on the internet.

The internet is an excellent way to make money. You have a global audience. People are looking for your product 24 hours a day. And best of all, you can find products created by others and begin to sell them immediately. But how do you do this you ask?

I have found that the best way to answer the question, “How to make money online” is through affiliate marketing. The way you make money on the internet with affiliate marketing is that you sell [other peoples products from your websites or direct people to the seller’s website.

With affiliate marketing you have three steps you must take. First you have to select a product that you will sell. You can find these products on various websites. Google “affiliate marketing” and you will find them.

Second, you have to create an email marketing campaign or website that will create buyers for the product.

Last, you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor, the money that will roll in.

Now the one thing I want you to understand is this, affiliate marketing is not a get easy money scheme. It is not a way to make easy money. It will take time for the search engines to find you website and it takes work to on your part to get the website ranked high enough to build up traffic.

If you tackle affiliate marketing from a long term perspective it is an excellent way to build up a 2nd income that quite possible might exceed your primary income. Then you can quite that 40 hour a week job and work fewer hours for greater reward.
