The first day of the year is an exciting event, or at the very least, a good excuse for most of the people in our society to throw a party. Many people feel an immense sense of pressure to have a date on the eve of the New Year and for that reason the atmosphere leading up to the holiday can be stressful. The upcoming New Year reminds a great many people of those things they wished to accomplish and didn’t; of habits that may need to be dropped and above all, that time is always moving forward.
