One thing that Nintendo has done very well with the DS as well as the Wii is attract people to their consoles who normally wouldn't be interested in video games. The DSi has received a lot of criticism from gaming enthusiasts but in the end Nintendo may see sales soar through the roof once more people are exposed to what the console can do. Sometimes I wonder if eventually there will be more Nintendo DS consoles in the world than people. That's probably a crazy thought but the way Nintendo keeps developing new units who knows what's possible. No matter what happens though, Microsoft and Sony certainly have their work cut out for them.
