Practical experience is required in the form of clinic hours where the student will have hands-on experience dealing with practical situations. This will represent some of the challenges that students will face upon graduating and getting a job as a social worker. All clinical practice which students go through at this school is supervised and a certain number of hours are required before they are able to graduate. If you are interested in going to this school for either a Master’s degree or PhD you will be able to go part time (around six credit hours each semester) or full-time. It is important to understand that by going full-time you will be able to begin your career sooner. The expenses incurred from going to this school can be quite significant if you are trying to earn a Master’s or PhD degree. The cost of books for each course in this school average around $100 and most of them can be purchased from the school bookstore. If you want to get in to Nova University, you will need to fill out an application for the fall semester. A GPA of only 2.5 is required for the master’s program.
