Saint Valentine martyr of all pure emotion
how it came to be thine sacrifice
for all couples to be but as one

Oh, Saint Valentine peril upon thine being
but to stir ye in rebellion as romance
was not of denial to ye ever faithful servant
to love all in union of nuptials

Oh, Saint Valentine supremacy of danger
in thine enemy ever emperor of might
yet ruler nay ye stood not in thine path
of what be right in ye the light
of tenderness to guide those
of passionate adoration

Oh, Saint Valentine thou be prisoner
of thine deed in cage so cruel yet
thee be not from favor as roses
and all lexis a kind fell upon thee
as lass of dark stare come to ye
all aware of the shine in beauty
to witness upon world

Saint Valentine ay thou was ever noble
excluding not thine own love
for she of humble covering
who searching for cure
to find bond as true as any
created in ceremony held under ye
for in all thou was cast upon role
of one in compassion

Oh, Saint Valentine club of pain
to torture was ye end as
hands a splendor to provide
came severed from he so
selfless patron to grant sight
in blind maiden on ye
final message carried on to
eternity in words “your Valentine”
