On A Journey To India? Never Leave Behind Your India Visa
Indian tourist visas are pretty easy to get if you live in the UK. There are quite a few countries where you are only granted entry if you have a visa; India is just one of those countries. Tourist visas to India are usually granted for short stays of up to six months, so if you wanted to spend some quality time there, and had the money to do so, you would have plenty of time. India visas are not hard to obtain but you must have a valid passport with at least seven months left on it. You will need a couple of recent passport sized photographs to go with your visa application. You can do the whole application process online so it shouldn’t take too long providing you have the required documents. You may be required to send some supporting documents along with your passport and photos, depending on your circumstances. You need to send in all your documentation along with a completed visa application form. If everything goes well when you submit your application for a visa to India, and everything is in order, then you should receive it within five to seven days of submission, which is their express service. If you don’t order the express service or you don’t have a valid UK passport then the process of getting your visa will take between fifteen and twenty days. You must fill out your visa application in black ink and applications with typographical errors or mistakes will not be accepted. Once you have completed the visa application process and it has been dealt with then you will receive your passport and other documents via registered postal delivery. If you don’t order the express service for your India visa then it is best to apply around five to six weeks at the latest before you go on holiday – just to make sure you receive your passport back in good time for your holiday. If you always wanted to travel to India then now is the time to take the plunge, book your holiday and once you have the arrangements sorted you can then apply for your visa. India customs will check your visa and ask when you are returning before you can enter the country. Order your visa to India in good time so that you receive your documents and passports with time to spare before the start of your holiday.
