Another resource you may have in your town for which you may not be aware are the retail stores that sell cameras. Many of these offer online photo classes combined with meetings at the store. Their motivation is to get you to purchase your equipment from them, but this is not a requirement for attending or participating in their online photo classes.

There are also many available online photo classes that will teach you how to use the most popular photo software such as Adobe Photoshop. There are an unbelievable number of techniques you can apply to your photos to make them look like a professional photographer made them. Many of these online photo classes are also free and ongoing when you purchase different picture software.
