Ontario, Niagara Falls Hometown

In the center of Canada with the largest by population and second largest, after Quebec, in total area we have Ontario. Ontario, a place bordered by the provinces of Manitoba on the west side, Quebec to the east side, and the U.S. states (from west to east) of Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania (at Lake Erie), and New York. Ontario is the only Canadian Province that borders the Great Lakes. Ontario's capital is Toronto, Canada's largest city. Canada's capital, Ottawa is located in Ontario as well. Ontario's most popular region is the fertile Great Lakes-Saint Lawrence Valley in the south where agriculture and industry are concentrated. Ontario is also known for its most popular geographic feature, the Niagara Falls.

Ontario's province name was taken from Lake Ontario, which is thought to be derived from ontarí, this is a a Huron word that means "great lake" also the word skanadario meaning "beautiful water" in Iroquoian. Ontariois one of the four original provinces of Canada along with New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Quebec. In 2004, Canada's leading manufacturing province accounting for 52% of the total national manufacturing shipments is Ontario province.

Most of Ontario's cities have regional airports, many of which have scheduled commuter flights from Air Canada Jazz or airlines that are smaller and charter companies flights from the larger cities such as:

-Thunder Bay
- Sault Ste. Marie
- Sudbury
- North Bay
- Timmins
- Windsor
- London
- Kingston

Within the north area of the province, towns that are isolated and settlements are relying entirely or partly on air service for traveling, goods, also ambulance services, since much of the far northern area of the province cannot be reached by road or rail.
