Opening Messages That Grabs Attention
There are three ways which you can effectively write a headline that grabs attention. First is to tell a story. Your headline should be able to tell your readers of a story where they can empathize with the problem you’re presenting. Your target audience can fully understand your message if they can actually identify with the problem. Maybe they’re dealing with the same hurt. Or they may be experiencing right now the same pain. You have to build up on that particular point to get them to want to stay a bit more to find out the next part, which is about your solution to their problem. The key is to give them a story, and a good one at that. A story that would give them suspense and make them awestruck that will help them open up to the possibilities of considering your offer. Second type of headline is one that can expose the problem that you have a solution to. It is easier to sell a product that can provide a solution to your target clients’ needs rather than explain to them what your products and services can do. This means getting to the root of the issue and then finding the ways by which your products and services can solve that particular problem. If you can quantify your benefits, do so. The bottom line is to have them see how much they can lose if they don’t buy your product or avail of your service. Lastly, tell them who you are and why you would want to help your target clients. People are generally a suspicious lot. That’s why when you offer to help them with their problems, the first reaction would be to get suspicious right away. So before they can even get apprehensive and question your motives, position yourself as an expert who can really help them with their problems. People generally would want to know that whoever is helping them is capable and trustworthy. If you can provide that in your headlines, you can get as many customers as you want which can turn your business into a very successful one indeed.
