Optimus Primes Greatest Fights

Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots and Decepticon bashing is at the top of the list in his job description. Optimus is always called upon to protect his fellow Autobots and the humans of planet Earth. He has had some major rucks over the years. Here are some of his finest.

Optimus Versus Megatron, Starscream and Grindor.
This fight occurred half way through the movie Revenge of the Fallen and sees Optimus alone in a forest taking on three heavy duty Decepticons in an effort to protect Sam Witwicky. After receiving a smackdown from Megatron and being blasted halway across a field Optimus dusts himself down and pops an Energon blade from each of his arms shouting “I'll take you all on”. He then proceeds to duff Megatron up, rip Starscreams arm off and Grindors head apart. Megatron then sneaks up behind him and sticks a blade right through his chest killing Prime in the Process. “Not again” is what the emotionally scarred eighties fans thought in many a cinema.

Optimus Prime Versus Megatron and the Fallen.
As soon as Prime is brought back to life at the end of Revenge of the Fallen he decides to go a punching and a shooting to get some sweet payback. With Jetfire's parts giving him the ability to fly Prime proceeds to shoot half of Megatron's face off before annihilating the Fallen. Revenge is a dish best served while flying around on a jetpack.

Optimus Prime versus Devastator
In the Dreamwave comics series there is a scene where Prime takes on the mighty Devastator who is noising up San Francisco. Prime rolls right up to him launches himself at Devastator and blows his head off with his cannon. Job Done.

Optimus Prime versus Bonecrusher
In the 2007 Transformers movie Prime gets to show how he rolls. Bonecrusher foolishly attacks prime on a freeway who transforms while speeding along only to be flung over the freeway by Bones. Prime then delivers a punch to Bonecrusher's chest before going all medieval on him with his Energon blades. Optimus shows why he's in charge of the Autobots by slamming an energon blade right into Bonecrushers head cutting it off in the process.

Optimus Prime versus Megatron
In the 1985 animated movie Prime faces off against Megatron in an epic battle which kills Optimus and leaves Megatron close to death. The epic line “One shall stand, one shall fall” is uttered by Prime before kicking Megatron's ass. Unfortunately Hot Rod gets in the way leading to the coolest character ever being killed off. That's why nobody likes Hot Rod.
