Most banners are placed at the top of a webpage but recent studies have shown that banners placed on the left and right sides of webpages get more clicks than ones placed on the top. This is likely because users have become accustomed to seeing banners at the top of webpages so they are more likely to instantly ignore them when they load.

One of the great things about banner ads is that you can make changes to your ads at anytime. If you think an ad would benefit from the removal or addition of something on the ad, you can make the changes that you need to and they will immediately take effect on the banners in your campaign.
