Origin Of Transformers 2
It was also stated in the first issue that they were formed by the mechanical evolution. Then we had seen cartoons, Five Faces of Darkness, pts. 1-5, stated that Transformers were created by the ‘Quintessence’ as his out-of-control experiment. These all are confusing. Here we will ignore what we hear from different sources. We will look into the facts that we come to know through cartoon series and comic books. It is known that eons ago in the civil war between noble Autobots and military Decepticons, the planet Cybertron was devastated. The war was so brutal that the planet broke away from its orbit and began to hurl through space. Optimus Prime was the leader of Autobots who left Cybertron with some of his finest warriors on a mission. When Megatron, the leader of Decepticons, heard this news, he also left the planet attempting to intercept Autobots’ mission. The two armies faced each other very soon and the war began. The ships hit a volcano and all the Transformers became inoperable. About four million years later, the volcano erupted and ARK computer system became activated. TELETRAN was the computer responding to damage control protocols. It sent out probes in the near territory and found civilisation that was swarming with vehicles and aircrafts. The data came from these two sources: interstate highway and a military base and by using this data, TELETRAN started repairing the Transformers. Unfortunately, TELETRAN was unsuccessful to differentiate between Autobots and Decepticons and he repaired both by altering their transformed modes. After the renaissance, the Decepticons realised what had happened and fled from the ARK and planned to destroy it for which they were not successful. Then they started the construction of their own base in order to plunder the planet’s resources. When the Autobots came to know the plan of Decepticons, they vowed to prevent the Decepticons from destroying the beautiful planet. Autobots undertook this as mission to confront the Decepticons and defeat them at every turn. Both Decepticons and Autobots formed alliances with the inhabitants of the planet called Earth. These inhabitants were physically less powerful and little as compared to Transformers but they were highly knowledgeable and ingenious. Both Autobots and Decepticons used the human technology to establish their contact with their homeland. Unbeknownst to humans, the war on Cybertron was won by the Decepticons and there were very few Autobots left. Around the year 2005 on the Earth calendar, Autobots became successful in driving away the Decepticons from the earth, though they lost their foothold on Cybertron. The war at Cybertron was continued but interrupted by an enormously powerful Transformer, Unicron. He was so powerful that both Autobots and Decepticons were forced to unite to defeat him. After Unicron was defeated, they started to rebuild their planet. Some Transformers were of the view that all of us would begin a new Golden Age on Cybertron together and some said the war would continue. However, we don’t really know what will be happening in the future.
