Orthopedic Matresses - Memory Foam Mattress Review

It was not that long ago that I thought that my chronic lower backache was something I was going to have to live with the rest of my life. I used to wake up in the morning aching and stiff. I was not in excruciating agony, but just suffering from a nagging number ache but never left me. It wasn't until I looked into the possibility of buying an orthopedic mattress that I realized my back problems may be unable to be solved.

I did a fair bit of research on the Internet into the various types of orthopedic mattress and memory foam mattresses that were available within my budget, and found that for around $400 I could buy a high quality mattress that would be comfortable and supportive to my frame. I checked out some memory foam mattress reviews, particularly including the Restonic's memory foam mattress and decided to make a purchase.

I stumbled on some memory foam mattress reviews, and although I was not particularly knowledgeable about this type of product, I decided to read on. I was very pleased that I did as these foam mattresses seem to be really taking off as a great product for sufferers of backpain. I was also very impressed at the low cost of some of these mattresses, but you do get what you pay for, and some of the design and materials used are truly innovative.
You'll probably find that you are overwhelmed by the amount of mattresses available. There are memory foam, latex, and the traditional spring coiled mattress, a great product but I was looking for something new. The memory foam models appealed to me because I could use them on my existing bed frame or flat on the floor.

The good quality mattresses are all constructed in a similar wide with three distinctive types of foam layer together to produce a mattress that is supportive, resilient and very comfortable. The general design involves a 10 inch thick dense memory foam place with a thin poly layer on top, culminating in a 3 1/2 inch thick viscoelastic foam top with a 5 pound density, an important minimum standard to seek when buying a mattress.

In fact I finally settled on one of the Bergad mattresses. Having been using it for a couple of months I can honestly say that I'm amazed at the progress my back seems to have made. Sleeping is now a much more enjoyable proposition without nights spent tossing and turning to get comfortable.

Having purchased a memory foam mattress, I cannot believe the difference it has made to my back pain. It is truly astounding. I sleep more restfully, wake up feeling refreshed and invigorated, with none of that early morning stiffness that I used to ensure. I would probably recommend them.
