Pc Is Slow - Reason Your Pc Is Slow + How To Fix

The personal computer, or PC, might get slower as days pass by and you might experience a noticeable change in the performance of the PC, in that the games, which you were playing with quite easy when the PC was new, were not to be the case after a period of time.

The primary reasons for the same include, among others, overloading of the system start-up with too many programs or applications, which were added over a period. Not only these additional programs add up to the windows start up folder, they also get added up to the hidden files folder that can be accessed only through the MSCONFIG run command.

By effectively handling the hidden start-up controls through the run command of msconfig, one can improve the performance of the computer to a certain extent.

While browsing through the Internet, the personal computer is encroached upon by a number of malware or spyware files without our knowledge. These malware or spyware files, in turn, eat up the space and in turn reduce the performance of the system. Most of these files are automatically installed into the hard disc of the computer when we visit certain websites. These files need to be deleted and the system cleaned up at frequent intervals so that the pc does not get slow.

Not only the malware and spyware gets encroached into the PC while browsing, but even viruses also get into the system when we check emails or instant messages from non-trusted sites, which pop up frequently while browsing. These viruses slowly corrupt the files in the hardware and thus impact the performance of the system.

One more reason why the performance of the PC slows down is improper defragmentation of the hard disc and other drives in the system. Periodic defragmentation of the hard disc is essential to ensure that all the files are not scattered across the space but arranged in an orderly manner. By taking up these and such other safety precautions, the performance of the PC can be optimized.

The fastest way to speed up a PC would be to simply download a registry cleaner and run a scan. It will clear up errors and instantly speed up application loading and PC boot up times.
