Psp Downloads Full Game - Save A Ton Of Cash And Still Have An Endless Variety Of Psp Games

The Playstation Portable, or PSP, is a very popular game console. The main reason is its versatility and portability. Games are primarily stored on a tiny UMD disk, which can be easily carried around. However, UMD games are unfortunately very expensive, and since many enthusiasts - kids especially - master games very quickly, the costs add up fast. There are however other ways of storing games on your PSP. Games, which can be downloaded from the Web, can be stored on memory sticks. This article will give a basic overview of how that is done, and where to get the best games on the Internet.

OK. Here's what you'll need:

1. A large enough memory stick. With the costs of all types of memory dropping very fast, I recommend a 1GB stick, so that you'll not be left wishing you had more space.

2. PSP Firmware version 1.5 or less. Newer firmware versions won't work, so downgrading your PSP is the only solution. It's not a problem at all though and your console will keep working perfectly. I get the feeling that the newer firmware was only created to keep us buying expensive UMD games.

3. The USB cable your PSP came with. Game files are transfered from your PC to your PSP via this cable. It's a simple matter of dragging and dropping the file onto the drive, just as you would a normal USB thumbdrive. If you bought a used PSP and don't have one, you can buy one for cheap on ebay.

Here are the steps:

1. Copy the downloaded PSP game file to the correct location - PSP>GAME (all capitals)

2. Disconnect the PSP from your PC and then in the PSP's main menu scroll to GAME and then select "Memory Stick".

3. Press X select the new game from the list available games on your memory stick.

That's all there is to it!

It's simple and works. To me the best thing about the PSP is that you can even play 'homebrewed' games and games from other gaming consoles on it.

Bye bye boredom.

And can you imagine how much money this will save you?
