Panama Lemonade

The economic situation is not a very pleasant one right now but there are pros and cons in such situations. we must remember the old saying about turning lemons into lemonade. This could be a very good time to go on a vacation. Travel is inexpensive right now due to the lack of demand and that leaves those of us who can travel in a very pleasant situation. Airfare is low and so are hotels and even restaurants have lowered their prices some.

So where to go on vacation? I think Panama is about the nicest place I can think of at the moment. Have you ever been to Panama? It's a beautiful country with lots to do. Although Panama hasn't experienced any sharp difficulties regarding the current economic situation it is still hurting for tourism just a little bit. That's good if you are ready to travel. Things are much cheaper in Panama than they are in the United States for instance. So if you live in the states and visit Panama you'll be pleasantly surprised at how cheap everything is.

There are so many things to do in Panama that you couldn't possibly fit it all in on one vacation. There are numerous restaurants and places to eat and enjoy the authentic cuisine. Panama City has itself a ton of restaurants and places to eat as it's a very big city. Panama is quite known for it's excellent cuisine so if you love latin style cooking then you'll love the food in Panama!

There are various tours you can go on to see everything from historical sites to exotic fauna. The birds in Panama attract bird lovers from around the world every year. Panama has a tropical climate which is great for fostering the habitats of so many species of birds that it's truly incredible. Be sure to bring a camera with you if you plan to go to Panama and do some bird watching.

People go on river rafting tours too in Panama. Rafting a white water river is an exciting thing to do to say the least! It's very hot in Panama and very humid too. So it's rather a nice treat to go rafting in the river and get a nice cool splash from time to time. Rafting and sailing are very popular activities for people vacationing in Panama. With the Pacific Ocean on the west and the Atlantic Ocean on the east people are always ready to go sailing.

There are the excellent canopy tours as well. You can go gliding from tree to tree along cables over the canopies. Talk about a rush! The cables are strong and safely fastened to the trees. You climb the tree stepping on the wooden ladder steps that have been nailed to the tree and up you go. You then climb on to a platform and grab on to the cable and you are off.

There's also the Volcanoes and Embera Village tours and much more. Hopefully I've given you a sense of just how much fun I had when I went to Panama on a most memorable vacation. Just be sure to have a good reliable guide and shop for a good deal on panama vacation packages.
