Pay-per Click “good Advertising”

Pay-Per Click Search Engines

Pay-Per Click search engines work so well, because the people are targeted and looking to buy or do research about your product. In my marketing campaigns results drop dramatically when I pause my PPC campaigns.

Tips for PPC search engines:

Tip #1: Don’t fight for first place. You want to be 2nd to 5th place. There are a couple of reasons for this:

1. The first thing that shows up people tend to click on, kind of like impulse buying, and when you are paying for every click you don’t want that.
2. You can usually find a spread between 2nd and 5th and get in for cheap. For example if you saw the top five bids were:

.45 .43 .30 .25 .15

You would want to bid .16 and be in 5th place.

Another example:

.40 .14 .13 .12 .11

You would want to bid .15 and be in 2nd place.

It doesn’t always work out that easily, but the main tip is “Don’t fight for first place”

Tip #2: If you are selling something and it cost money do not say it is free. I’ve seen this several times and it still doesn’t make sense to me. You just paid to mislead and make someone angry.

Tip #3: Use well written advertising to get people excited about your product before they even get to your webpage. There are some wording changes that can probably be made to your current advertising.

Tip #4: Always use the search keywords in your title or in the body of your advertisement. If your search keywords are eBay auctions, then eBay auctions better show up in your advertisement.

Best of Luck in your Online Endeavors,
