It used to be that everyone had to have Robeez, but they are so three years ago! These days parents are concerned about diversifying their childs style from all of the others. There are two up and coming brands that have everything that parents are looking for: style, comfort, and durability. They are Pedipeds and Umi shoes.
Umi is an earth-friendly company that makes the cutest little crib and children shoes ever. You can find some Umi Shoes on sale, but mostly, they are the same price no matter where you find them. Umi is especially know for its crib shoes. They are great because they have little rubber grips on the bottom to help maintain footing when walking or crawling.
Pediped is the other brand I looked at, but quite honestly, the girl styles are way cuter than the boy styles. From what I have seen the soles don't seem to hold up as nice as the umi ones have. However, Pediped designs shoes with your child's feet and they way they grow in mind. Plus, I like Pedipeds way more than Robeez. The dressy styles pediped offers for little boys are very cute as well. So my opinion might be a little lopsided. Either way, I have found some sweet deals on Pedipeds Flex and Pedipeds Original shoes as well as Umi Shoes.
