Pen And Pencil In A Music Studio
A normal number two pencil has it's advantages of beings extremely affordable and able to be sharpened to a specific liking. A mechanical pencil has it's advantages by potentially being able to write forever by use of refills. The pros of a pen are that you won't be able to smudge it away to become illegible like pencil lead can do from objects and the oils of your hand and arm. The con of a standard no.2 pencil are that they do not last forever and without a pencil sharpener close by can by a dull mess to write with. The con of a mechanical pencil is that there is only two types of sharp pencil tip possible depending on the thickness of the lead it can hold, plus without the lead they are useless. The con of a pen is it's ability to not be able to erase, although there are erasable pens, but the pros of color and life span out weight it. The eraser itself has varied qualities. Although that pink eraser on your number two pencil is good, the white art gum version of these for artists will work much better and leave behind no smudge. Pencils vary in thickness and brightness according to the HB scale. That why if you go into an art store to get a pencil you'll often see 4B or 4H on the sides where no.2 should be or HB. You may choose these varied types of pencils for your rhymes if you would like a harder lead or the classic pencil is just too light to see with your eyes.
