Persuing Your Dreams As An Article Writer

The famous Psychologist Carl Yung described the 3 major archetypes we all possess as human beings as the Self Unconscious, Introvert and Extrovert. Most of us possess a percentage of all 3 but for most of us we are primarily Introverts or Extroverts. Introverts tend to be more intellectual and get great satisfaction within themselves. Extroverts are more outward and social and get more satisfaction from being in groups. I believe Article Writing is more of an Introvert's game. However as I just mentioned even extrovert's can get into the game since all of us possess a percentage of both archetypes.

If you want to be an Internet Article Writer, you have to first realize that this is a fairly small sub-culture. Out of the billion or so people in the world that have some form of internet access, there are probably about 10,000 - 20,000 people who do this. And you average article writer has submitted less than 10 articles. The most popular article writer I know of Sean Mize has submitted almost 24,000 as of the time of this writing. And I've personally submitted about 2,500 total in the last 3 years. From all my research I can tell you that only about 50-100 people out there have submitted 1000 articles or more to the major article archives. And almost all of these writers are in global markets. So what does this all mean for us?

What I'm trying to say is that if you want to get into the article writing game it's not too late to get started, in fact this sub-culture is really still in its infancy. And it's virtually open season, or the wild west for anyone who owns a brick and mortar enterprise. I've timed myself writing articles, and yes I admit I can type and there are a few things I can write about real easy like Article Marketing. But I've realized that it takes me about 30 minutes to write an article and submit it to the top 8 article directories I know of. But writing content relating to your business and submitting it to the top article repositories is in my opinion one of the smartest things you can do.

The question of how much to write depends on how much you want to write. The more you write the more successful your business will be. You will start establishing many pathways to your site over time through your author biography anchor text links you insert at the bottom of your articles. If you want to become a true article writer you will enjoy writing many articles about a subject you already know a lot about. You have have a small sense of satisfaction every time you write and submit one to the article directories, knowing you're building a strong back link count to your website.

Just think if you write just 3 articles per day and submit these to the top article directories, that's just 90 minutes per day writing articles, in one year that's over 1000 articles and that will put you in the top 1% of all article writers globally. Imagine where that will put you if you own a local business and are just competing with people in your city or county and not the entire world? Then you can consider yourself a strong part of this great sub-culture and enjoy all the benefits that go with it.
