Pet Health And Life Extension

Understandably, people willingly spend thousands-of-dollars attempting to get their sick pets better via conventional medicine. Ironically, these same people think that providing the proper nutrition and supplements capable of preventing illness are too expensive! And yet…

Tens-of-millions of pets have at least one disease; many are on multiple medications, and most pets over the age of 10 have some form of cancer. Not only does this affect their quality of life, it also significantly shortens their lives.

Could age alone be the cause of illness? No! Without a steady supply of good food, clean water, and targeted supplementation, over time, your pet’s immune defense systems will break down. Some just do so sooner than others do.

Listen up! When you give your dog or cat the proper care, your pets’ life expectancy actually increases, typically up to 10 years! Importantly, these are quality years, virtually free from immune system breakdown and age related illness like: gastritis, dermatitis, arthritis, blindness, hip dysplasia, kidney disease…, even cancer.

So what do pets need to live longer, healthier and happier lives? Aside from healthy food, four basic supplements, if given daily, will significantly reduce the risk:

1. Soil-Based Probiotics (SBOs): Ideally, the gut should have 85% “good” (aerobic) and only 15% “bad” (anaerobic) bacteria to function properly. Without daily supplementation, the proper balance cannot be maintained. Non-dairy SBOs perform several important duties- they reduce acidity, aid in digestion and assimilation, as well as counterbalance “bad bacteria”. SBOS are not found in food.

2. Oil: Your pet’s body functions much like an engine. If you change the oil periodically, the life of your engine increases. For them, without a daily supply of omega 3/6 oils, they begin to oxidize (rust) internally and externally.

3. Multi-supplement: There is no food that provides everything your pet needs. Immune systems need different nutrients than muscle, bone, skin, joints…

4. Digestive Enzymes: The importance of digestion and assimilation is often overlooked. Vitamins, minerals, oils and other nutrients enter the bloodstream through the small intestine where they are transported throughout the body. As the blood circulates and releases the nutrients, it then picks up the waste materials and transports them to the large intestine for elimination.

Digestion is a time sensitive process. Incomplete digestion means a portion of that meal does not get assimilated. Undigested matter is thicker, and moves too slowly through the intestines. It begins sticking to intestinal walls. The layer underneath hardens while the top layer becomes a breeding ground for bad bacteria. This is often the cause of frequent diarrhea.

Eventually, the intestinal tract becomes restricted, further slowing elimination. This stagnating fecal matter festers in the bowel and is the breeding ground for a variety of illness and disease.

This blockage also prevents the waste products generated within the body from passing out for elimination. No wonder ninety percent of all chronic disease is caused by an unhealthy digestive system!

As pets age, they have greater difficulty breaking down the food they eat. Some pets, regardless of age, have genetically compromised digestive systems, and will require digestive enzymes throughout life. You want a digestive enzyme that effectively aids both digestion and assimilation.

Taken routinely, these four elements work synergistically to fortify both the GI and Immune systems. Neglect any one of these and you increase the risk of your pet getting old before it time. The fewer your pet gets on a daily basis, the greater the risk of illness and disease.

Your pet gets sick because at least two defense systems have broken down; this taxes every other defense system. There is no “one” magic bullet! What your pet needs is a restoration program specifically formulated to deal with the effects of disease and medication by rebuilding its’ natural defense systems.

To summarize: Long-term medication overrides your pet’s natural defense systems causing them to atrophy. All-natural supplements have no side effects with long-term use.

Once the immune system has atrophied, the body needs more supplementation to deal with the long-term effects of medication.

You will significantly lower their risk of your pet ever becoming seriously ill by starting them on a supplement program today: add to this that the effects of any genetic diseases will be reduced, or prevented! Who wouldn’t want that?
