Pimples Causes And Solutions

Unexpected breakouts are not just a teenager's problem; pimples affect almost everyone's skin from time to time.
A pimple appears when a hair follicle is stopped up with dirt and oil which causes a build up of sebum. Bacteria, whose favourite food is oil, start to adhere to the sebum, resulting in inflammation. The swelling and redness finally turns into a pimple.
Some of the things that will trigger a breakout are: some medications, progesterone-dominant birth control pills, iodine found in seafood and supplements, stress and, of course, your hormones.
You must never touch a pimple. The dirt and germs on your fingers can possibly cause even more inflammation and the infection will be carried to other parts of your face.
There are some things you can do to keep a pimple from getting bigger.
Your skin must be cleansed regularly. Dirty skin can never be beautiful. Use skin care products that properly compliment your skin type to keep your skin clean.
Always wear oil-free cosmetics. Heavy ingredients like oil will lead to skin breakouts and skin eruptions, as they will clog your pores. Use light natural cosmetics and keep an eye on how long you keep them. There is a chance that bacteria will build up in the liquid and there is also the chance that after some time, the make up will be spoiled. Discard all cosmetics that you have had for more than one year (some cosmetics can last for only 6 months).
An efficient pimple remedy is a preparation with equal parts of distilled water or previously boiled water and organic apple cider vinegar. Apply the combined solution on the pimple with a clean cotton pad two or three times a day. The pimples will be greatly reduced in just a few days. After the pimple inflammation has gone, apply a milder mixture of one cup of pure water mixed with one table spoon of organic apple cider vinegar. Keep the mixture in a clean sterilized container in the refrigerator and try not to put the cotton pad directly on the container and always use a clean cotton pad.
Do not use the clear white vinegar on your skin, because it is not made with the care that the organic vinegar is made with.
Finally, you can also clear your pimples with lemon juice. Use a cotton tip to cover your pimples with lemon juice. They will clear up in a few days thanks to the antiseptic properties of the lemon juice. Be careful: if you completely cover your face with lemon juice, you will make the entire area lighter and this may make your pimples stand out even more. Make sure you put the juice only on your pimples, unless you want your skin to become lighter.
