Applying anything on an overly sensitive skin should be done with care, so being away from this method would be best if you do have an over sensitive skin.

•Type of toothpaste: A lot depends on the type. The recommended types are white gel less types. The coloured toothpastes have been found to be ineffective for this method.

•Method of application: As with anything you try for the first time, it’s a good idea to first apply it on a small area of your skin and see if it works or causes burning.Ofcourse you do not need to cover yourself with the toothpaste, it needs to be applied only to one pimple.

Whether the pimples toothpaste method is really a safe method, is something difficult to judge, since some acne sufferers swear by it, while others do not really like the method and have seen burns on their skin due to the application.
