Naini Lake:
This is a natural freshwater lake located amidst Nainital city. It is considered as the heart and soul of this place, which is among the most visited destinations of India. The scenic beauty of Naini Lake along with the seven encompassing mountains makes it an enchanting destination of Nainital. The mesmerizing beauty of 3.5 km of this lake attracts several tourists who come here to enjoy sunrise and sunset along with its lovely reflection on the lake. This green colored water body is the most striking feature of this place where tourists can enjoy boat ride either in self driven paddle boat or the one driven by the boat man.

Naina Peak or China Peak:
It is the highest peak of the town which is located at an altitude of 2611 meters, and at a distance of 6 km from the town. This is another enchanting destination of this place which gives mesmerizing 360 degree view of the Himalayas and bird's eye view of Nainital. Pony or Horses can be hired to visit this peak but trekking is the best option to reach here. During trekking to Naina Peak one can witness the mesmerizing beauty of deodars and cypresses dotted with rhododendrons. The surroundings of this place are known for natural vistas which provide ample opportunities for photography.

Nainital Zoo:
It is a small but beautiful Zoological garden located at an altitude of 2100 m. This is also referred as the Govind Vallabh Pant Zoo which is a center of attraction for nature lovers as well as wildlife lovers. Varied collection of flora and fauna fascinates both kids and the grown-ups. Some of the known wild species of this place are Himalayan black bear, Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Palm Civet Cat, Barking Deer and many more.
