Make sure that you and the rental car agency are on the same page when it comes to the amount of mileage for which you are responsible. After all, the car rental agencies are in the business to make a dollar, so you have to remember that when you are negotiating the contract.

It is never easy to figure out the exact amount of mileage you will be using when you rent a car because there are always a lot of curveballs thrown your way when renting a car, but do some homework in advance so you have an idea what you will see when you see the final bill when it is time to go home.
